Claire E. Dineen
Claire E. Dineen is the founder and principal attorney of the Law Office of Claire E. Dineen. Ms. Dineen has been practicing law since 1994 in the areas of elder law, estate and trust administration, and estate planning. Her elder law practice includes conservatorship and guardianship proceedings, long term care planning, and special needs planning. Her estate planning practice focuses on assisting individuals with the preparation of wills, trusts, power of attorney documents, and advanced directives.
Ms. Dineen is admitted to practice in Colorado Courts, U.S. District Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals (10th Circuit). She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Trust & Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association, and the Denver Bar Association. She served as Co-Chair of the Elder Law Forum Committee (1996-1998) and served on the Statutory Revisions Subcommittee for Colorado’s Uniform Guardianship and Protective Proceedings Act. Ms. Dineen is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (www.naela.org) and has earned the prestigious AV rating with Martindale Hubble (www.martindale.com). Ms. Dineen has been selected as a Colorado Super Lawyer in 2006, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
Ms. Dineen earned her Juris Doctorate degree from The American University, Washington College of Law, Washington, D.C, where she graduated cum laude in 1993. She earned a Masters of Science Degree in Health Fitness Management from The American University, Washington, D.C. (1987) and Bachelor of Science degree from Albright College, Reading, Pennsylvania (1983). Prior to practicing law, Ms. Dineen was a health educator and registered dietitian for private organizations, hospitals, and federal health promotion programs.
